Directions

Mi Yard is accessible from anywhere in Negril by water taxi, in fact most of Negrils catamaran cruises para sailing and reef taxis pass in front of Mi Yard Cove, just around the cliffs from Ricks Cafe and the Pickled Parrot. From the famous seven mile beach side it is only a 10 minute ride from anywhere: Riskey Business, Alfreds, Roots Bamboo or DeBuss or any beach hotel, from US$5.00 or less.

Entertainment (Music Bar) Feature’s live Band on Tuesdays and Saturdays. There are also Selectors or DJ’S that spin from there laptop or CD PLAYER. Performers are singers, dancers, comedians etc mainly locals but sometime national and International. We put on an anniversary Birthday Party every year. It generally feature a beauty contest, cutting of café, live music, with either MiYard Band or a hired Band with an array of artist, beer drinking contest, breadstick eating contest etc. We Do a Star Search competition as part of the Bob Marley Week of Celebrations. The winners perform at MiYard Anniversary Party and goes on to perform on the six (6) of February the actual birth night of Bob Marley. Most of our entertainment can be seen live and the Internet at http://www.miyard.com/b3/b3.htm. Recently we have added Crab Racing as a regular feature. From time to time you may see tourist and local playing dominoes which is one of Jamaica’s most popular table game. Guest enjoy themselves by playing card games, backgammon, ludou etc.

Food such as ackee and salt fish, breadfruit,bammie,miyard original breadstick, festival, fritters, fishcake, plantain, escovesh fish, all the egg sandwiches, cheese sandwich, plantain sandwich, ackee sandwich, callaloo sandwich, mix vegetable sandwich etc. All our salads are served right here. Where to dine for authentic meal like curry goat served with white rice or rice and pea even better still served with food such as yam, banana and dumplings the best place to choose is MiYard. The Jamaica Gleaner rated our curry goat as the best on the North Coast of Jamaica.
